The short version
This site has no accounts, no login, no newsletter and no checkout. There is nowhere on it to type your name, your address or a card number, which removes most of what a privacy policy usually has to explain. What remains is set out below.
What reaches us when you read a page
The ordinary technical record any web server keeps: the requested address, the time, an HTTP status, a browser and operating system string, a referring address where the browser sends one, and a truncated IP address. It is used to keep the site running and to see which pages are read. It is not used to build a profile of a reader and it is not sold.
What reaches us when you write to us
Whatever is in your email: the address you send from, the subject, and the message itself. It is used to reply to you. It is not added to any list, not passed to the manufacturer and not shared with anyone else. Closed threads are deleted after twelve months.
What never reaches us at all
Payment details, delivery addresses, order histories and customer accounts. All of those are created on the seller's checkout, which is a different company on a different domain. We cannot see them, cannot retrieve them and cannot correct them. When you follow an order link you are leaving this site and their privacy policy takes over from that moment.
Cookies
This site does not set advertising cookies and does not run cross-site trackers. Where an affiliate link is used, the seller's platform may set a cookie on their own domain to attribute the visit. That happens on their side, under their policy, and is not something we place or read.
Fonts and other outside requests
Web fonts are loaded from Google Fonts, which means your browser makes a request to that service when a page opens. Everything else the pages need — the stylesheet, the images, the scripts — is served from this domain.
Children
The site is written for adults and the product is sold to adults. We do not knowingly collect anything from a child under thirteen. If you believe a child has sent us an email, write and we will delete it.
Asking what we hold
Write to [email protected] and ask what we have about you, or ask us to delete it. In practice this will be an email thread or nothing at all, since there is no account system here to hold anything else.
Changes to this page
If what we do changes, this page is rewritten and the review date at the foot moves. There is no mailing list to notify, so the date is the notice.
